Motto and Goal
Most people have heard of the Coca Cola motto, "Open Happiness," but many wouldn't guess that the Coca Cola Company is also invested in sustainability efforts. They have an entire sustainability sector dedicated to giving back to both the community and the environment.

What They are Doing
The Coca Cola Company has their current goals and relevant statistics posted on their website. According to that source, they have recycled or recovered 59% of their bottles or packaging from 2015 through 2017, and they are aiming for 75% recovery by 2020.

They also acknowledged climate change risk, and are attempting to reduce the carbon footprint of "putting the drink in your hand" by 25% by the year 2020. This problem is being tackled on multiple levels, one of which is moving towards a more sustainable agricultural plan by using more sustainable sources for their ingredients.

More recently they have enacted a policy of, "For every drop of water we use, we give one back." They acknowledge that they are very responsible for the use of one of the worlds most finite resources: water. They aim to always return 100% of the water they use back into communities and the environment.
